The Chieftronic PowerPlay 750 W uses a good CWT platform that is also utilized by Corsair's RM line. Build quality is high and overall performance satisfactory. There is only one EPS connector, though, which can result in compatibility issues with several high-end mainboards requiring more juice for the CPU VRM.

The Super Flower Leadex III ARGB Gold 750 W performs well, is of high build quality, has an RGB fan, and RGB-lit, cube-shaped modular connectors. The good news is that you might even find it in the US soon since Super Flower products are now listed on Newegg and Amazon.

Its highly flexible cables, which lack in-line caps, make cable routing and management considerably easier. Costing about as much as PSUs with lower efficiency certifications, it also won't drain your wallet.

That said, the RM750 has jaw-dropping efficiency at very light and light loads and is compatible with the new Modern Standby mode in Windows 10, meaning it can wake up the system within five seconds.

The FSP Hydro G Pro 850 W is of terrific build quality and uses a modern platform, but something in its final recipe didn't turn out as planned. Overall performance isn't as good as with the competition, and the HG2-850 costs more than the popular Corsair RM850x or Seasonic Focus Plus Gold of similar capacity.
