Graphics Settings

The graphics settings screen is a single long list, which I split into two images, so they fit our site layout better.

  • The game supports "windowed," "borderless fullscreen," and "fullscreen."
  • Field of view can be set between 0 and 100, from a default of 9. I suspect this is relative to some base range because 0 degrees makes no sense.
  • FOV for vehicles can be set separately
  • ADS Field of View will change how the FOV setting works when aiming down the sights. If you increase the FOV, you'll "zoom out," which means you can't see fine details as well as on narrower FOV. When this setting is on, the zoom will respect the default FOV setting when aiming down the sights.
  • Motion Blur and other effects can be disabled
  • If you've taken a look at the screenshots on the previous page, you'll have noticed that some sharpening filter is always applied—it can't be disabled in the settings.
  • The overall graphics quality can be set to Low, Medium, High or Ultra.
  • There's plenty of additional options for fine-tuning graphical fidelity to the performance of your rig.
  • When Dynamic Resolution scaling is enabled, the game will adjust the internal render resolution to achieve a more stable framerate. Unlike other games, there's not a single option here to fine-tune the scaling behavior.
  • NVIDIA's Reflex Low Latency technology helps make you a better player by reducing the end-to-end latency between your mouse and monitor.
  • Future Frame Rendering defines how many frames are queued to the GPU. When "on," there will be multiple frames in flight, which will looks smoother, but causes slightly higher latency than with Future Frame Rendering "off."
  • V-Sync can be disabled, and there doesn't seem to be a hidden FPS cap.
