Gelid Solutions Silent Spirit CPU Cooler Review

A Closer look »

Packaging and Contents

The Gelid Solutions Silent Spirit CPU cooler comes in an extremely small, white package. On the front of the package is a small cut out displaying a part of the cooler, as well as the usual brand name, logo and website of Gelid Solutions and the name of the cooler. Towards the sides and back of the package are the specifications, features and CPU compatibility/support list of the cooler as well as general innovations which the cooler obtains. There is a grey pattern that runs around the box, as well as many images and graphs of the features of the cooler and its performance.

Included with the Silent Spirit is all necessary equipment to connect the cooler (including the user's manual), yet no additional accessories. The cooler is packaged within two pieces of plastic to protect the fan and base. This plastic is not actually a shell as each side does not connect, and the middle of the cooler is exposed.
Everything else in the package was placed on top of the cooler. The first image demonstrates how the package looks without the box around it. What is actually included in the package is the user's manual with instructions and images on how to set up the cooler, a pair of brackets for AMD based installations as well as a case badge containing the text “Silently cooled by” followed by the Gelid Solutions logo.
