Value and Conclusion

  • The Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum is currently $140 on Amazon, but do shop around, it can at times be found for less.
  • Sensor is fantastic
  • Excellent switches, not too soft or too hard
  • Ambidextrous
  • Comfortable due to size
  • Wireless option works flawlessly
  • Great software
  • Feels durable
  • Very nicely presented
  • A little heavier than some gaming mice due to battery
  • Not for everyone's budget
This is probably one of the best mice I have laid my hands on; it is a mouse made for my needs, my hands, and my style. Starting with its looks, ok, it is quite "gamerish" but subtly so as it has no horrible tacky bits and looks great.

The mouse is very comfortable to me - I have small hands and everything is within reach and readily usable. Even though the design might look like it would be uncomfortable due to the gap across the top, Logitech designed it so that the gap is actually an area your hand doesn't even register as missing; it is quite surreal. The mouse can be used with a palm, fingertip, or claw grip without any problems, and my hand didn't get hot or sweaty throughout my time with it.

The software is easy to use and has plenty of features to keep us happy, and the build quality is great, even the packaging screams quality. Changing from wireless to wired is seamless, and there are no noticeable differences between either option since both work great.

As you can tell, I am a big fan of this mouse, so much so that it has now become my daily mouse, having knocked others off my table, and this is the mouse I will be using moving forward. The only downside I can really see is that it is expensive. Not everyone will want to drop $140 on a mouse, which is understandable; however, after having used one, I think I would go out and buy another tomorrow if I somehow broke this one.
