OverclockingThe overclocking results listed in this section were achieved with the default fan and voltage settings as defined in the VGA BIOS. Please note that every single sample overclocks differently, which is why our results here can only serve as a guideline for what you can expect from your card.
Maximum overclock on our card is 1265 MHz GPU clock (18% overclocking) and 1765 MHz memory (10% overclock).
Fantastic overclocking! Remember, the Sapphire HD 7790 Dual-X is already overclocked out of the box. GPU overclocking worked extremely well—better than the ASUS card we also reviewed today. Memory overclocking potential reached the levels we have come to expect from a modern graphics card with good GDDR5 memory.
