Packaging

Swiftech has placed the H220 X2 Prestige into a rather large box that measures roughly 33.6 cm in length, 22.9 cm in width, and 15.2 cm in height. The front of the box has a rendering of the H220 X2 Prestige with its LEDs set to red to go with the red coolant dye. The back of the box lists the liquid cooler's technical specifications, and its exact dimensions are given in a mechanical drawings. A list of all the contents inside the box has been put at the bottom of the front.

Only the product name has been put onto the left side. Look at the top of the box and you will find images with various LED colors enabled and a list of features and performance parameters with an Intel 5820k system. Last but not least, the right side lists all supported Intel and AMD sockets.

Contents

Upon opening the box, I am greeted by foam packaging that completely surrounds the H220 X2 Prestige. While not as thick as I would like, it is definitely better than the standard cardboard trays mainstream AIOs are shipped in.

Swiftech's H220 X2 Prestige supports most modern sockets; however, LGA1366 and LGA775 have been dropped. Other than that, everything else that is needed is provided, with most of the kit pre-assembled, which makes it very easy to install.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:
  • 8x Long fan screws
  • 8x Short fan screws
  • 8x Fan screws
  • 4x AMD mount screws
  • 4x AMD washers spacers
  • 3x Tubes of coolant dye
  • 2x AMD mounting brackets
  • 2x 120 mm fan
  • 1x Backplate
  • 1x CLC unit
  • 1x User's manual
  • 1x Tube thermal paste
  • 1x Fan / LED splitter
