Overclocking

With manual overclocking, maximum overclock of our sample is 2400 MHz on the memory (20% overclock) and +200 MHz to the GPU's base clock, which increases average GPU clock from 1906 MHz to 2066 MHz (8% overclock).

Unlike other GTX 1660 cards we tested today, the Zotac GTX 1660 only reached a lower memory overclock because of stability issues beyond a certain point, similar to what happened when we tested the Zotac GTX 1660 Ti, which both share a similar board design.

Overclocked Performance

Using these clock frequencies, we ran a quick test of Unigine Heaven to evaluate the gains from overclocking.


Actual 3D performance gained from overclocking is 13.7%.
