The Teamgroup T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB was a solid-state drive in the 2.5" form factor, launched in 2019, that is no longer in production. It was available in capacities ranging from 250 GB to 1 TB. This page reports specifications for the 250 GB variant. With the rest of the system, the Teamgroup T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the SM2258G from Silicon Motion. Teamgroup has installed 64-layer TLC NAND flash on the T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB, the flash chips are made by Samsung. Please note that this SSD is sold in multiple variants with different NAND flash or controller, which could affect performance, the "Notes" section at the end of this page has more info. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are absorbed more quickly. The T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 500 MB/s write; random IO reaches 90K IOPS for read and 75K for writes.
At its launch, the SSD was priced at 65 USD. The warranty length is set to three years, which is above average, but shorter than the five years offered by many other vendors. Teamgroup guarantees an endurance rating of 200 TBW, a good value.
