The P30PH is a graphics card by AMD. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Polaris 20 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on P30PH. The Polaris 20 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 232 mm² and 5,700 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon RX 580, which uses the same GPU but has all 2304 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the P30PH to reach the product's target shader count. It features 2048 shading units, 128 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 4 GB GDDR5 memory with the P30PH, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1120 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1206 MHz, memory is running at 2100 MHz (8.4 Gbps effective). Being a dual-slot card, the AMD P30PH draws power from 2x 8-pin power connectors, with power draw rated at 180 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI 2.0b. P30PH is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface. The card measures 241 mm in length, and features a dual-slot cooling solution.
