The ADATA Ultimate SU750 is a solid-state drive in the 2.5" form factor, launched on February 19th, 2019. It is available in capacities ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB. This page reports specifications for the 1 TB variant. With the rest of the system, the ADATA Ultimate SU750 interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the RTS5733DMQ from Realtek, a DRAM cache is not available. ADATA has installed 64-layer TLC NAND flash on the Ultimate SU750, the flash chips are made by Micron. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are soaked up more quickly. The cache is sized at 315 GB, once it is full, writes complete at 70 MB/s. The Ultimate SU750 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 550 MB/s and 520 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 65K for reads and 75K for writes.
At its launch, the SSD was priced at 120 USD. The warranty length is set to three years, which is above average, but shorter than the five years offered by many other vendors. ADATA guarantees an endurance rating of 800 TBW, a good value.
