The RZX Pro is a solid-state drive in the 2.5" form factor, launched in 2022. It is only available in the 240 GB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the RZX Pro interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the SM2259XT2 from Silicon Motion, a DRAM cache is not available. RZX has installed 96-layer TLC NAND flash on the Pro, the flash chips are made by Toshiba. Please note that this SSD is sold in multiple variants with different NAND flash or controller, which could affect performance, the "Notes" section at the end of this page has more info. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are handled more quickly. The Pro is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 540 MB/s and 450 MB/s write.
The SSD's price at launch is unknown. RZX guarantees an endurance rating of 140 TBW, a very low value compared to other SSDs.
