What games can this comp run?

Ok well, i have this laptop that is from late 2004, it is a toshiba satellite a65-s1062 and it has a 2.7ghz single core celeron 1.2gb of ram a 120gb 5400rpm hard drive and a 64mb radeon 7000.

Do you guys think this could run the source engine, and what else do you think it could run.
Most likely it would have to run everything on low to med settings with a low res.

the Source Engine is very compatible across alot of low to high end comps the engine is codded very good and can even run on lower end systems then what you listed there i think you will have no problems running Source games

Ok cool so ill be able to run the source engine, thats good to hear. Will i be able to play left4dead on it at low settings, since that is made with the source engine.

I think you'll be able to run source games on lowest settings, not sure about left 4 dead though.

Why would you want to? I really wouldn't want to game w/ anything except 5+ year old games, or simple puzzle games. A new FPS on a 2004 laptop doesn't seem that fun to me......

Only reason to do fps on a laptop is for when i am on the road... Or just dont feel like staying upstairs and going on a computer. Oh yea and when i go to grandparents houses who dont have computers.

Actually i found out that i have 230mb of video ram because the memory is shared! Isnt that cool!

i referre to this site here. it scans your computer and tests the hardware you computer has. you select a game from the list and press the "can you run it" tab. it then scans your computer and tells you if it passes the requirments, and then shows a graph type deal and your system results.

Not as cool as it sounds, the ram that it's using is many factors slower than the ram onboard the video card itself.

driver should run on it. i had the same lappy but with a 2.4 celeron in it. driver was awsome on it.
