What do you mean modded exactly? Like overclocked? I'm not sure what you mean.

Anyway, you can get a 4830HD for relatively cheap. Also can get 3850HDs for around $80.00, not too expensive for a good video card. 9600GT is good too, but somewhat expensive.

Those days are long gone.
No more unlocking pipelines - they are all laser cut nowadays.

However, bios flashing is still around - ppl flash regular cards to better factory overclocked bios all the time.

hd 4870 512mb is a prime example of such a card.

Yes to unlock pipelines ;) And to overclock :toast:
I know nvidia 9600GSO is able to unlock extra pipeline to medded to 8800GT and is much powerfull than 9600GT

that only worked for Galaxy 9600GSO's, and the first ones at that. that is no longer possible. though you can still flash the bios to a factory overclocked 9600GSO bios as stated before, then do a volt mod and try to overclock the hell out of the card :rockout:

getting a newer and faster card nowadays are better and far more safer(voiding the warranty) on your low end card.
