Zune HD or iTouch

So I'm debating both of these and need some help. Please help in my consideration.

Pros of the Zune:
Not apple
HD content
HD dock w/HDMI

Pros for iTouch:
jailbreak
wifi

Both are great devices but I'm kinda stuck on which to buy. Which would you buy?

I have a Zune HD and love it, though Ive never used an itouch so i cant really tell you which is better.

The rumors say that the next iPod touch will have the retina display, camera, and other new features of the iPhone 4, so I would wait it out and pick that up if the pick does go to Apple.

My preference though is to have everything rolled into one device including my phone. Since I prefer Windows to iOS and Android, I am holding out for Win7 phones this Winter- been convincing myself a Zune is a waste in the mean time.

mmm, i got a fe generations old N95, and i share that opinion.

Phone, Voip phone, GPS, MP3 player, video player (with composite TV out) etc etc...

having all in one devices can be really convenient, IF you find one you like/can afford.

i have used both.
The browser on the Zune needs some work. (it doesn't support flash and can be alittle buggy at times)
but on the other hand i haven't had my Zune HD crash once yet and my itouch crashed multiple times(had to wipe it out and start over again)
other then the browser on the zune i would say it is a better device. That is if your not into all the crazy apps that the itouch has.

I hate both companies especially apple for their bullshit prices of their products, and Microsoft are just gay but I guess most companies are :laugh:

Yes it is believed that the iTouch 4 will have every feature of the iPhone 4 minus the phone functionality, and will be released in September (all previous models have been released in September). I would definitely wait for that or at least see exactly what the new model entails.

Also, I have a HTC G1 that I currently use for browsing and music(and making phone calls lol), but like the idea of having a dedicated media device.

the zune has a browser and it has wifi. I post on here with my zune all the time and when i was on vacation it's what i used to be on the net.

The awesome apps(free due to jailbreaking) and for it having one of the best touchscreens in the world. :rockout:

IMO its your loss if you miss out on the iTouch. Its a masterpiece of a device. :respect:

Zune HD is awesome. But i'll always pick the iTouch over that.

Buy both at a store like Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Use both, see which you like the best. Return the loser for a full refund (within 15 days). If they ask why say you weren't satisfied with it. But still, wait a month for the iTouch 4 before doing anything.

One of the coolest things about the iPod Touch in my experience is that you don't have to sync it with your computer that much. I sync mine every few months, for updates and some new albums. A majority of the time I get all my media (podcasts, games, apps, etc.) straight from iTunes and the App Store on the device.

Are you talking about the Archos 9 Win7 tablet or something else? I do like the idea of replacing my laptop(on days that I dont need to work on reports) with a 9" touch screen(that isn't an iPad). The price is $430 for a 60GB but I'm interested to say the least.
