So guys treat me like a noob when it comes to SSD speeds. So anyway I was checking into my SSD performance because it seems my Patriot Warp V2 64GB isn't working as well as it should.

But maybe I am just expecting too much out of it because of all the hype.

So I am posting a screen shot of my Crystal mark score. If someone could please tell me were I stand and why that would be appreciated.

Like I said it seems slow to me from what I have looked up to compare it too. It seems most comparable SSD's have a write speed of around 90 something. While here I am only getting 24.

Again any info would be much appreciated thanks. Also if you think it's a tweaking issue let me know where I can go to learn more about this kind of stuff.

Thanks

****Edit*****

Now that I have seen this (My Western Digital HDD 500GB Black Caviar) Compared to my previous score of my SSD. I am more worried now. It seems that my HDD is doing jus about as well if not better then my SSD. Thoughts????

DUDE! Yeah I know I made the cardinal sin.... I didn't look first. It's all good man! I never understood the worries over this..... anyway thanks I found them.

None the less any thoughts pertaining to my situation in particular could be helpful.

But yes I have tried SSD tweaker.
No there is no trim support for my SSD.
No I have not tried Alignment tool yet but am planning too very soon.

If your write speeds are that low then you have a Alignment problem.
Do some more studing up on your drive.

No TRIM support and I take it this is a used SSD? It needs a format/alignment for sure. Even then write bandwith will steadily decrease over time.
