Well , i lost the original DVI-HDMI adapter for HD2600XT but i doubt this is the problem hm ?
this:
[Reference for search engine: The audio portion of the HDMI is not working properly. The ATI/AMD DVI-HDMI adapter/dongle currently attached is not designed for this display adapter.]
HDTV: Samsung LE40C530
Motherboard: (onboard intel GPU disabled)
Ga-880GM-UD2H
Catalyst: 11.2
Realtek: Gigabyte Realtek Drivers pack (UAA+WHQL+HDMI) R 2.51 (Realtek drivers on other sites are wrong pack for gigabyte mobos , anyway REALTEK WEBSITE IS A PIECE OF SHIT , thank god i didn't deleted the old drivers , i was going to update to R 2.58 but after a freaking realize that the drivers didn't had HDMI when i searched for HDXATI64.sys(rtHDMIVX.inf) i discovered in readme ahh it's just so stupid they include the readme references but not the ACTUAL files, .. so in the end , gigabyte FTW! another plus , every driver WORKS from their page, the freaking point is , REALTEK updates weekly while gigabyte packs monthly i guess.)
The weirdness is , how did i got R2.51 with proper pack but on gigabyte the latest (for this mobo and also others) is R2.49 , but i remember my self i was downloading from gigabyte since the folder references suggest it. .. maybe just typos
