Having already confirmed its CeBIT presence, the JEHE-owned Giada crew has revealed its very first motherboard based around Intel's Cedar Trail platform. Named MI-D2700G, this Mini-ITX board comes equipped with one Atom D2700 (two cores @ 2.13 GHz, four threads) processor and with an Nvidia GF119 GPU backed by 512 MB of VRAM.

The MI-D2700G also features the NM10 Express chipset, two DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM slots, an active cooler, two SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, one mini-PCIe port, an mSATA connector, Gigabit Ethernet, an ALC662 5.1-channel codec, four USB 2.0 ports, and both D-Sub and HDMI outputs. The board's pricing or release date have yet to be announced.

Fan looks a bit whiny. Also no USB3 but it looks a bit industrial anyway so that might not matter. It would come down to price.

We have enough Atoms. We need more performance ITX boards with PCIe and... wait for it... STABILITY. Zotac and Assrocks, are you listening?

Looks like this board uses the slim IO shield. Good for a slim fast htpc.

Asrock and Zotac ITX boards are not stable? You have any further reading on it?

I guess I'm looking at their overclockability but I have had 2 of my 4 Zotac ITX boards fail. Then there's the heatsink issue that plagued their 9300 series. I can't speak for AS but I haven't heard good things. I'll know soon though when I order one for testing. :)
