What's the deal with steam then? Is it 100% legal or what? Is it worth me getting an account? I usually buy or download them from various sources, depending if I want to go online with them or not!

steam is a real proggie.you can buy games from the shop which is one of the sections of the steam gui.

the main advantage of steam is you dont need a disc to run the games.

Steam is fantastic...love their interface, love how the games automatically update, love their games, no cds required....can take the account any where i go...etc.
