Well i am sure it's been a pain in the ass for millions who used it since they combined.. Well to cut a story short and all i been complaining about every week or so checking if all my games are listed or not.

I either noticed a odd one added or no change all though the gamefly app is always being updated. Well after complaining

About every week or so they just gave me what i call a shutup notice we know already.

Here's the email they sent me ( i believe it's from filling in their survey ).

Let me get some thing right here before you read onward.. The gave me $50 for the trouble which is nice i guess but were talking 25+ games missing here and yes i do want to play some of those not listed even more so Arma 2.

Hi ,

I am seeing a few of your games on the Client, you do not see any of them at all? Please let me know so I can escalate to an engineer.

We do understand your concern regarding your Direct2Drive purchases not currently being available to download. We are in the process of continuing to add games including your purchased titles into the GameFly Client. This process could take several weeks and we are very sorry for this inconvenience.

We have applied $50 GameFly Dollars to your account, applicable toward a future game purchase. When you purchase a game, you will be asked to verify your order. On this page, please select $50 on the “Code” drop down menu and select “Apply” to redeem the GameFly Dollars against your purchase.

We appreciate your patience and please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,

Christine.

Maybe complaining enough does help after all but still $50 does not replace the cost of the 25+ games that are missing. An how the hell they make out that it's resolved OMG... Could spending the $50 agree me to some thing other than a game of them ?..

I have no idea how Direct2Drive works, never bought a game from them. But how long have your games been missing? I would assume because D2D got bought out by GameFly that indeed it would take a little bit of time to transfer all intellectual property over to their system along with accounts, user information, etc.
But if its been long, like over a month, then I would keep bitching at them. Get yourself another $50 shutup email and send it to me :D

Unfortunately, this is one of the fundamental flaws with digital distribution. Some of you know (and I'm sure some don't) that Valve has a clause stating that if they are to shut down, however unlikely, then it's goodbye stuff.

I bought one thing from D2D and found it on Gamefly (I learned I had an account with them after they sent me an email), but that pales in comparison to everything currently missing for you.

The best practice for the future is to keep records of everything you've purchased because then you will have the upper hand.

I hope your issue is resolved sooner than later, but remember in your email correspondences to be tactful. I've found in the past that - and naturally so - the more brown-nosing you do the better off you'll be. "I really enjoy how easy it is to use your service and that's part of why I want to get my games back; so I can use it more"...don't be super obvious, but stuff like this gets you your way more often than not.

I just gave it plain and simple to them give me my games back or give me the money that they cost back as it's getting really annoying.

And i am sure it was though a survey that popped up on going to there site so i filled it in and gave the same impression me not happy me no buy..

So all i can say is if you do go to there site and a survey pops up when you login respond to it lol.

I guess the $50 be good for Arma 3 release in which i am in no rush for haha..

And yes steam could be next very much so even more so if more do what EA have done.. Shame they just all cannot get on with each other and let use decide who to buy there games off.

Thinking more and more about itSteam is as bad as Origin and lets face it they only did what Steam did with valve games so you could say steam started the BS.

As i am sure by default more and more people would opt for Origin if the game price is right. Lets face it it's not good to buy all your games of any single one of these companys that run them As it's never good to put all your eggs in one basket.

This is true, however if you do this...

The best practice for the future is to keep records of everything you've purchased because then you will have the upper hand.

Agreed. If a company is brave enough to challenge a customer to see if they have proof of the purchase or not, and you do...you will win no matter what.
I take print screens of every single frame whenever making a purchase from beginning to end...ends up to amount to about 8 or 9 screenshots total give or take. That way I protect myself just in case they try to pull any shit :D
