Everyone says it's HARDCORE and has awesome range and stuff...

their specs are compared to real budget stuff, so when they say 5x the range, they mean 5x the range of a device with no external aerial, possibly even on wifi g.

it looks decent, but most wifi N routers with external aerials will have great range.

edit: and it is 300Mb, finally found wifi speed listed.

Thanks for the heads up!

We have Trendnet tew-639gr wireless-N. It works great but the range is very limited and I really need more range now that I have a pad. I'll be watching the thread for any more reviews on the R10000G.

never trust coverage figures. you need two way communication, so unless your network consists of nothing but two of these devices in the vacuum of space, it wont work that far away.

Marketing hype is just that. Also consider that having a wireless range past your house isn't exactly ideal in most situations. Signal strength is heavily influenced it's environment, so the 10,00sqft coverage is going to be the best possible scenario, you will probably be lucky to see half that in most applications.

Personally I see very few applications for this device....
