$70 AR is absolutely insane... not sure how I feel about paying $90 for my 128GB Samsung 830 last week... $20 for peace of mind I guess.

Yea, OCZ has gotten some pretty bad reviews on their SSD's. I would stay away from them at the moment.

Makes me feel sorta down, as I ordered a 90 gig a month ago for the same price. :ohwell:

Guess it may be because of the encryption problem the prices a dropping.

I have 4 OCZs, 2 Sandisks and a Kingston. All using the Sandforce controllers and have not had a single problem, so far.

IMO... one is like another (compared with the same internals) and brand only makes a difference in personal choice.
OCZ is good and they keep their firmware up.
I don't know about their Vertex 4 with the new Indilinx controller; however, I intend to try one.

As long as you run their newest BIOS it takes care of all the BSOD problems it experienced when the drive tried to go to a 0V state.

I ordered one, for that cheap it can't be any slower then my Raptor.
I just hope it wont die in 3 months.
