I wouldn't even do that, If you tested this stuff then you should know by now it tarnishes and scratches copper and some bare dies(or worst) and always smells like fish after using, don't waste your time and money by damaging your stuff.

From the long winded report.

Consistent with Samsung SGHT98

That would be my phone camera that I took the photo with.

From the report:

1) The file format data indicates that the digital image is a JPEG file and the digital camera used to create the image
is a Samsung SGH-T989 digital camera. Pixel dimensions equal 1326 x 1260, these dimensions are not consistent
with the resolution capabilities of the Samsung SGH-T989 digital camera. For this reason img0925G’s file format is
not consistent with an authentic digital image created by this camera.

Ever hear of magnification in lenses?

The report is inaccurate.

Ever hear of magnification in lenses?

Actually, I think their sole argument is that the resolution doesn't match the resolution of pictures your phone takes. A magnification lens won't affect that, but resizing for upload would.

Does your cooler for that GPU have a copper or aluminum base? Are there any stains or pits in the heatsink itself?

I used that magnification light and then I cropped the photo with Picassa to blow up the area of the image I wanted to share.

I have nothing to hide about this. I was just being honest and wanted to share with the community as a warning.

As many people said before abrasive properties of the compound is far less the issue (at least I see it that way). The company efforts to hide their shit is stupendous. I know that they offered the compound to members who wanted to test it. And they tested it. Got their shit damaged that is testing for. No one asked them to buy them new components. They could just said ok thanks for your input we will further investigate etc. No they started offending members.

And for the scratches obviously the paste is not fine enough. The paste particles should be small enough to fill the material imperfections (micro cracks that aren`t even visible). And for the holes in the coolers I think that are in metal air bubbles that were punctured because of the abrasiveness of the paste.
I can see how someone could put the paste and do no damage but that does not prove anything.
If you have cooler that has no impurities and if you put the paste in the middle and put the cooler with out moving it around to spread the paste.
If you have 30% situations where the paste does the damage that is not ok. At least they should put warring on it.

TPU's image uploaders remove EXIF data, add our "free hosting by.." watermark and hence re-encode/compress images. Our uploaders can even resize images for you.

So images hosted on our free image host and uploaded using TPUCapture will obviously fail a forensic exam.

After reading the report, it's hard to beleive the company would:

a. Not take the word of users
b. Spend a huge amount of $ to analize and discredit the pictures and users
c. Insult the users

If they had taken the time to try and understand the problem (and not lose a heatsink), they'd have not lost all possible cred. Arrogant f*cks.
