1. Have a very short BETA
2. Release game in unfinished but pretty state
3. Make the users find the bugs
4. Never fix the netcode but tell people we are working on it.
5. After 1-2 years hint that we are working on a New, Better Battlefield.
6. Never finish fixing the bugs in the game.
7. Rinse/Repeat/Re-use

havent had any crashes lately, been enjoying the MP i find BF 4 to be more playable than BF 3 was in the 1st week of release. But thats just my opinion

Do agree, back then I felt BF3's BETA was more stable than the actual release. The 'turtle-necking' at least gave me a laugh when it happened.

This isn't too bad. I played about 3 hours of MP and did not experience any weird movements, lagggg or crashing. Now I just need to get a better GPU

Just trying to figure out if there's a problem with the game, or I just suck. It could go either way, really. Sometimes I feel I got robbed in most firefights, others I know I was outplayed. Sometimes the game just feels wrong.

I do love BF4 though, and any issues DICE will fix.

You should find a server with someone who has a high ping (more than 200) and spectate them. I don't know if its possible to beat someone with that high of a ping because they're shooting so far behind the person that the person their shooting at is going to loose any close engagements. Not trying to say all the fights you have are with high pingers, but might just check, next time you feel you got robbed, to see what their ping is.

mobile AA + radar homing missiles = confused heli pilot going down, wondering what hit him. it's kinda hard to score full kills though and not just "disabled vehicle". if your team gets raped on the railroad map, just hop into AA and turn around the round by shutting down enemy aircraft traffic

Well I think LaughingMans's comment was more directed at Ducky and his little list (tho he bought it too). Yeah I have heard other complaints like yours. Likely mostly netcode/ping related as said; expect it to get better (and such hasn't been "as bad" for most of us in this regard so I don't think it's an "across-the-board" type prob. Some how I don't remember having many probs with BF3 early but apparently many did (which stands to reason too; launch always kinda rough).

Me too last night. Well all the "rest" of the unlocks anyway. The 30mm cannon makes it quicker. Rear armor on those things is pretty weak (and you get a clear shot at any passengers from behind).

Well after setting my network smoothing to zero my K/D has started to slowly climb. Really seems to make a huge difference to me. I still run around on maps wearing a clown suit and squeaky shoes judging by how fast people home in one me but hey, at least I can kill again.

Don't mind dying much as long as it's not just me doing it

Well I have it on 20% down from 50% last night and meant to just go to 0 now so thanks for reminding me. Seems crashes became less frequent lowering it (tho DICE is also 'fixing stuff' as we speak) and I didn't notice any other real difference anyway; not sure what it's even for exactly.

There's some annoying shit in the single player, like it showing a round loaded in the front of the rpg, but when you go to fire it, it switches to a different weapon coz you have no ammo for it, WTFF

Played the first mission on the campaign just to get the unlocks, crashed on me after you get the VIPs on the helicopter and you go back to the ground floor.

Man I lost a 12-5 run on Flood Zone, mostly in the AMTRAC. I don't even show that vehicle on my stats page yet. Was on the roof of the parking garage nailing the surrounding buildings and ground and it worked out great incl starting to crumble the rooftop exit of a stairwell full of baddies. 200 tickets left and bam. Did not reconnect to anything.

Are all the servers 800 tix at present? Lower would help me.

The new patch for the servers went out earlier this evening which DICE said is suppose to fix the majority of server crashes.

Well I dont crash on UNITEDNOOBS as yet but damn it's super laggy/rubberbandy. I am going to try others again too but drives me nuts to crash and lose progress.

If you still crash then it rules out being specific servers being less stable. I don't crash on that one or UNITEDNOOBS at all today (unlike some others). UN is laggy tho. Or the fixes are getting wider spread slowly but surely. You also could have something else going on too so monitor your system for starters if you aren't already (I've never crashed on SP).

Would anybody be willing to help me out that has a resolution of 2560x1440 or higher? I'm trying to determine exactly how much frame buffer/GPU RAM BF4 needs at ULTRA settings (use the Ultra selector, not custom), and motion blur off. I also turn off weapon depth of field, but I don't know that this has a large impact on performance.

I tested with a reference GTX 680 at 2560x1600, and this is what I got after an hour of gameplay: 2023MB/2048MB

Recently acquired an EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX, and here's my highest seen while playing 64 player Conquest Large maps: 2866MB/3072MB

I no longer have my R9 290X, so I can't tell whether the game is demanding right around 3GB, or I'm still swapping textures in and out during gameplay.

If you guys could run GPU-Z in the background (don't forget the checkbox at the bottom under sensors) and show me your MAX Memory Used (click on the box that says MAX on my screenshots until it shows MAX), that would be extremely helpful.

I would prefer people with a resolution of at least 2560x1440 with cards with at least 3GB of vRAM.
