Apparently EVGA has made 9 different GTX 970 cards and the Best Buy link above is this one

For $329 after rebate and with a free game (but not Fallout 4).

One thing that might make the Best Buy card worth it to a hardcore Fallout fan is the Fallout themed backplate that comes with the card but it's not shown so I don't know what it looks like.

I watched a video of PC version running on maximum settings, and uh... the graphics look like SHIT. Why are the colours so horribly oversaturated with some weird white fog in front of everything? That's horrible!

Cuz realism<art direction. I'm not seeing the oversaturation or the white fog. Guy is probably using a bad config of SweetFX.

Draw distance is really good from what I've seen playing today. We're used to the muted colors of past Bethesda games and personally I find FO4s palette so much better!

45ish on ultra, but with some strange stutter. turning AA and shadows down makes it 45-60, without the stutter. (i think its AA doing it).

i am on older drivers, been a few betas but i havent updated.

I played today on a I7-4790 with a GTX 970 @ stock and was getting over 60+FPS on everything maxed. Only slow downs I seen was when I went to the big city and had raiders throwing grenades at me.

Wow. Again I'm at a complete loss for words. I thought this would be reasonable; a $60 game with a $290-$300 card, and you'd have the price pretty reasonable. Instead it comes with a poster, and the heat dispersion coating on the bottom of the card is painted. I don't know why anyone would pay an extra $70 just for their heat dissipation plate (a part they'll almost never see) to be colored.

I get the beer. I get the pop. I even can kinda see the plastic pip-boy (as decoration). This is just sad.

Also, kudos to everyone who pre-ordered, but didn't sign on to an Aussie or European VPN. You've only got a few more hours, followed by the longest work day, ahead of you. Hopefully you find Fallout 4 was worth the wait, and I'm just a pessimistic voice that disappears after slaying your first dozen synths.
