Roger that. I guess there wouldn't be anything like modding 12p to 16p for my little 1950GT then? Just like to know before giving up all the hope and start living happily thereafter with my vanilla 1950GT.
No. Unless some Genius finds the solder point to enable the other pipelines...Its fast enough anyway Just overclock it to X1950PRO speeds and your good. (The X1650XT, X1950GT, X1950PRO have a max core overclock of 621... until they need voltages)
Its because the X1950GT needs manual voltmodding/pencil mod while the X1950PRO can be done via software/bios (no software since W1zzard is still developing it, hes having fun at his R600 T_T_T_T_T_T_T_T_T atm). You also need better cooling, all the cooling solutions on the X1950GT are absolutely sub-par!!! Get yourself and AcceleroX2 or something if you plan to overclock (one saving grace is that the X1950GT doesnt use digital VRMs).

GT and Pro are essentially the same card. Both will OC about the same for final clocks.. so just get a GT and OC it, you wil feel much more satisfied with your OC results than if you got a Pro.

Your GT a PCI-E card? If it is bung it in my 1950Pro thread, spose I could do a tweaked GT BIOS for GT owners.
