The only safe ones to call cool are the InteLgrated. Then again, a 4 cilinder 1.3 litre engine never gets hot.
The crimson drivers fixed me some problems like performance in osu! (mixed 3D+video), allowed me to run my old LCD at 75Hz, and I don't know if it's the driver but in the past 960MHz was the best I could get from the GPU, now I'm running 965 with no problems, 970 testing tomorrow or when I have time.
I don't know if my next GPU should be Nvidia or AMD, AMD is the eternal underdog with high power usage and late drivers, and Nvidia has that stupid Physx-only-for-my-own, horrible Gameworks ports, and PAY for G-Sync.
And by far the best one in both Windows and Linux is Intel...
