The controller (Falcon) is actually made by a company called Novint, while HaptX is a middleware product to integrate the controller into games and such.

Aslo, it's not just a vibrating controller, it is actually a 3 dimension force-feedback device so you can actually feel curves in surfaces and stuff like that.

Mine arrived yesterday. Something new to play with. :rockout:

True, novint makes it...However is it easy to use ? Looks weird although the force feedback like feature is cool :)

I am not sure how easy it is to use as I have not tried mine yet, but Novint claims they are working on several new "grips" (including a recoiling gun one) that will make different things easier.

The only thing I have heard is that the "default" grip is a little small and does not seem to be a very natural hand position. (shrug)
