need help finding a review

hey
i'm going to sell my rig, and going to get a laptop, the one i want is a ASUS X50VL, but i can't find much info or reviews other than it's specs:
screen - 15,4" WXGA
cpu - Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 - 1,50 GHz
ram - 2048 MB
hdd - 120 GB+ my old 250gb for downloads
gfx - ati X2300
Wireless i802.11a/b/g
Ethernet 10/100BT
Modem High speed 56K

it doesn't even appear on asus global or portuguese site, it's for sale on a big shop in portugal and says it's on pre-launch so a review may be hard, but if someone can find some more info and pics of it i would thank you very much

Building a laptop is honestly STUPID. It costs far too much compared to actually buying it, and parts are rare and rather hard to obtain.

i'm in university for a year now, and i still live at home, but i need a laptop in there to work, dell's are extremely rare here

we have plenty asus, acer's and toshiba's
and my best friend is going to buy it, so it's going to have a good home

I think the x50 is also known as the F5 series,that might help in your search for a review.

i would build a lappy, asus and msi have barebones and then you pop in the hardware of your choice, the quality components that you choose of the same specs for the custom lappy will equal the same lappy with generic parts...
