Okay, here is what I already have.
GA-P35-DS4 mobo.
Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model NE2KIT12864AL804

Here is what I just bought:
OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Model: OCZ28002048ELDCGE-K

I've already bought them, so that part is over, I just want to know what everyone's opinions are about installing the OCZ either in place of the crucials (I would order another set of the OCZ to have 2x(2x1) sticks) or with the crucials.

The reason for this is I don't like the LEDs on the crucial tracers, otherwise I love them.

Thanks :)

lol, I have the same OCZ you have and just bough the Tracers:laugh:

I think if you were to use both the OCZ ram and the Crucial together it would lower the performance of the crucial, when I say lower I mean this.

If CAS Timings were 4 on your crucial and 5 on the OCZ then the Crucial that runs at 4 will be forced to run at 5. See what I mean?

Haha, I've yet to change the timings on my ballistix...I'd buy two more if I could find the newegg models...that's what I have...I'm obsessed with everything matching...

So, I don't know =/ I'm tempted to sell the tracers, and just use 4x ocz...albeit I'd only be able to utilize three on xp.

You should have bought 2 gb of Crucial Ballistix. Better ram then the OCZ.
Then later on you could have sold the Tracers and got another pair of Ballistix.

Well, I'd trade you my OCZ Gold 2x1GB PC2-6400 for your 2 Tracers PC2-6400???
