Hopefully they keep the "Comic" feel of the original. It's what made it better than GTA because GTA was too serious -"gangster" stuff. Saints Row was just "I'm going to go shoot some guy in the nuts because I'm bored," or "I wonder what would happen if I start shooting a RPG at everybody downtown."

Definitely checking this game out.

its a GTA Clone except you go a street thug and do missions for a gang and then the gang gets bigger and you fight rival gangs taking over ect

the first was pretty a decent clone if you ask me

it had some decent side missions for when you did the rest of the game

driving was better and it had some cool stuff it

the new one is meant to be a wacky non serious can do anything you want version of gta

it not meant to be as serious your meant to go around pushing people off buildings and doing races and blowing shit up

its been announced on pc for AGES im getting it but on what i dunno yet, maybe pc for the uber cool mods i forsee coming

I got myself Saint's Row a few weeks ago, it's a fairly decent game but nothing revolutionary. Must admit that GTA 4 is probably a lot better... but SR2 does look interesting! If I get 'nuff money to spare, I just might buy this game as well in the Autumn.

I thought it was better than GTA cause GTA is so serious.. There is some humor in it but Saints Row is funner. And the online in saints row was GREAT. I loved customizing my character and playing in gang wars with friends.

Looks like it could be cool, but it looks like it could be a lot shallower than it could be. Gameplay wise that is, I don't mind a shallow story if the gameplay is deep enough, but if it starts to get repetitive w/ story and gameplay, gimmicks won't save it for me.

It'll be a lot deeper than the previous part, just finished it and must admit that I don't really want to go back to the game for some reason. SR2 on the other hand seems delicious, a true GTA 4 killer if everything goes well and a lot deeper than the 1st game. Sadly Fable 2 comes out in October as well... :nutkick:
