If you want to o'clock, don't get 4 sticks. I finally gave up trying to do it as my 800mhz sticks won't go higher than 667mhz stable. Also, 2 sticks are obviously more expandable in the future.

DLP cannot compete with either plasma or lcd. If you're on a budget, get a dlp. If you can spring, go plasma or lcd. People can rah rah dlp all they want, but the picture is not as bright and viewing angles are much smaller I've had both dlp and plasma >50" and plasma is hands down better...

I was thoroughly disapointed with the whole cable situation. I've got 2 xbox360's I wanted to stream to, do away with dvr boxes, and have essentially unlimited storage capacity. Maybe one day the cable companies will wise up and open things up for their customers.

I guess I will have to periodically check the hsf. It WAS loose(duh!). Had to stick a flat tipped knife in between the vents to get it reseated. temps are now 37, 32, and 127, which appears to be "normal." Aux has shown in the 120's the whole time I've had this chip. Thanks Guys

cpu voltage set on auto. speedfan and aisuite(asus utility), are what I use for temps. Right now speedfan shows 35deg system, 51 deg cpu, 127deg aux. Also, speedstep is currently on so cpu is running 6x instead of 9x.

Yesterday I ran spybot and adaware at the same time. cpu usage went up to about 100%. Temp on cpu went up to 100 deg. Do you think this is accurate? I wouln't think so. Also, it idles about 50-55degrees, which I don't figure is accurate either. Is it possible for the temp to truly spike...
