In most cases, I'd have to agree with you, however, 11.4 and above drivers are the first time I have ever had cursor lag. I doubt it would be an IRQ conflict as you are suggesting because, A.) the hand-off is done during POST so that conflicts/unresolved dependencies are sorted prior to boot...

I still have cursor lag at the top right of the screen... maybe the fix was for non-eyefinity users or something.

I've used it for certain games that have no native AA support, and for the most part I'm happy with it. Fallout New Vegas seems to like it as there is less of a performance hit with it on.
