  • Wow, your board died, the Gigabyte in your specs?! That sucks. So what do you use now?
    I'm not interested in dealing with any extra heat, so avoided OCing to past the maximum for stock volts. Quite a few people have had success with stock volt on 3.6GHz with the 955, but my maximum is 3.5GHz and that's now my 24/7. Actually, I just updated my mobo BIOS to v1.5 from v1.4, so I think I'll try and see if I can get 3.6 stable on stock volts, but I doubt it. I'll enable ACC to keep the cores stable and see if it helps.
    I was never interested in pushing to breaking point though, budget is too tight for that.:p
    I originally bought it already flashed second hand. So unfortunately I cant really say for sure.
