I need to reinstall Win7 .I have all games and third party programs(NERO,STEAM,games,perfectdisk,pictures,music) installed on my second harddrive.Will these still work "after" the reinstall?Thanks

If your using Win7 ,it is designed to properly delete and format an SSD....

Let me ask you this, I plan on installing Win 7 onto an Intel SSD,Intel states that its RST 9.6 Trim drivers are to be installed before windows O.S. installs.

I have a Gigabyte board which supplies drivers for its onboard sata chip.

Can sata/ahci drivers be installed using a floppy during Win 7 install? I know Vista allows this.But someone on another forum said its different with Windows 7!

The "C1" designation is OEM!simply put,no bracket but same as "R5"(retail)

So the difference is in form factor.7mm height for the "GN" designation and 9.5mm height for the SSDSA2MH080G2. I would guess laptop for "GN" and both laptop and desktop for the other.......

anyone know the difference in part numbers for the X-25M 80GB's.I have two numbers-SSDSA2M080G2GN and SSDSA2MH080G2.Whats the "GN" designation????

Is Trim supported in Raid or not?According to Anand it is not.I'd like to pick up an SSD for my OS,but not without Trim.I make too many changes to the OS. Anyone know of a definitive setup guide???
