You want to use MSI afterburner. It will allow voltage adjustment on a 5770.
As for bricking one, I run mine @975/1300 1.29v and havent bricked either one yet in 7 months.

After quite a few hours of searching many internet forums and articles I discovered that when upgrading from 32 bit to 64 bit the time it takes ALOT longer to load. So after 13 mlnutes it finally left the loading screen and continued on.
