  • That is not an issue regarding PM inbox. I had quite a bit of stuff to tend to this AM. Black Panther's sig will be completed tonight before I head off to bed.
when you say 240 radiator, do you mean one that fits 2x120mm fans?
so basically res > pump > cpu > tec block > rad > res?
well, yeah, I don't really think the product is meant to compete with that kinda stuff  just be a nice alternative to high-end air and low-end water; plus it was a total impulse purchase

I was just looking at that qmax, it looks friggin' crazy, out of stock though. I'll probably be happy with this for a while, but whenever I get another job and upgrade again, I'll consider doing something crazy.

I wonder how it would work out if I set up a loop similar to the eliminator, but with a peltier on the cpu block and a separate radiator for each of the other three peltiers
    look at the pics here.

I've never thought about anything other than air before since I don't wanna bother with setting up and maintaining a loop. But I saw paulieg selling the eliminator for only $100 and figured it was a nice deal since it's all-in-one and I don't have to worry about anything. btw, paul said he never experienced any condensation with it so i'm not gonna worry about that.

Would I have been able to set up a better water/tec loop for a similar price if I did it custom?
where might I purchase those materials at? And no, the peltiers are in three separate spots. look at a pic of it.
I didn't mean sub-ambient at load, I meant idle. And the website specs say 3 tec's so that's where I got that from. I still haven't put the system together yet, so I haven't taken any precautions at the moment as I wasn't sure what would be necessary and what would be overkill :/ This is my first time with anything other than air, so please excuse my incompetence and try to enlighten me so I don't make any mistakes
it's in my specs, e7200. Have you seen the coolit eliminator though? It's an all-in-one liquid-cooling unit with three tec's on the radiator. idk what cpu paul did this with, but I remember him saying he had one down to 6c
yeah, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I wasn't going for a real extreme tec, I just saw paulieg selling it for ~$100 so I looked it up and found out that it's probably one of the best cpu coolers available for that price. From what I've seen in reviews and from paul, it does cool sub-ambient.
