ok heres the deal. for the past few months ive been picking up parts leading up to the new ivy bridge chip. im in need for a kick ass , top notch with great oc ability motherboard. 400.00 is my budget. also looking into water cooling so any insite on what you guys think would be wonderful...

Yeah i hear that AMD chips wouldnt unleash the horsepower that these cards will need...i dont know,im a amd fanboy but intel sounds like the way to go.

Alright TPU Gods...What would be better, 2x 7970's 3 gig in crossfire or one 7990 6 gig . I know I would be spending about 1200.00 on 2 7970s and from what i hear about 800.00-850.00 on 1 7990. has anyone heard anything on what the talk is on this? Curious to see what the fine folks at tpu...

ok heres the deal.. i have a asrock extreme 4 fx 970 and amd 980be cpu ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.... and a set of 16 gig mushlkin redline Mushkin Enhanced Redline 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DD... the board is at stock settings and ram is set with stock timings...
