I just got my new computer put together a few weeks ago. Its great except for the fact that my monitor when coming out of sleep sometimes does not get a signal.. (I was told putting it to sleep is better than shutdown every time)
I would say 7 times out of 10 it works fine. The other 3 times...

Got all the parts delivered today, just need a good guide to take me step by step. I have my friend coming by to assist who has done it before but I would like to get it started and do some of it myself.

After looking at reviews for the Seagate Momentus HD.. Is this just for notebooks and Macs? I see it can be put into a desktop but am I better off going with a WD Black/Blue?

No I am not... I dont live on campus or anything, I go back and forth between taking some classes. Its nothing full time.
I assume I need the full disk version, am I better off just buying on Newegg? and what version is best if I just use it for internet and gaming?
