How to cut tubing?

I use a rag around the tubing in a vice grip, then a nice 80+ hand saw.

A decent pair of scissors will work. But I'm talking about the all steel pair "office type" not those fancy plastic type.

This shipping for the cutters would cost more than the cutters. At least that's how it is in the US. I can pick up decent cutters for $5.

soft tubing use a utility knife, and rotate the pipe back and forth with your wrist, so it slices through the tube, if its metal then i would suggest a pipe cutter.
the reason to rotate the pipe and not the knife is so your cut stays fairly strait. and doesn't form a butterfly shape when done.

Good quality and sharp scissors will do nicely. Or a sharp axe, if you have one handy and are good at aiming.

anything sharp will work, a knife is all i use with my loop work but bannanas and grape fruit dont work so well
