she has never had an issue with the last build and insurance isn't giving them enough for a mac $722 for there last pc

Cheapest decent aftermarket cooler would do, but you might want to throw in some decent fan to keep the rig silent. No chance of reusing the case from the drowned pc?

Yes, you should also consider prebuilt ones, while you cannot oc etc, they are very good value for money, especially if you consider the cost of OS (unless you have an os already).

I had the Elite 330 case for some time and it was tons of value for the money. I bought it for .. €35 I believe and it was a lot more stable than the Silverstone cheap I have now. Also the build quality was better. This was with the 330 though, not sure about the 430. Just an anecdote that prove that cheap cases doesn't always equals crap. ^^

Os is taken care of the downed pc is in tx its cheaper to buy a new one than ship to sd. I am looking cheap but there insurance is buying it so I am making as much as I can so it will last as long as possible.

I don't do prebuild because I really dislike them

Nice thing about pre-builds is that you don't have to support it.

Running an inefficient 650 watt PSU at under 100 watts will result in lots of wasted energy. You want your load to be no less than 20% of rated capacity.

I have that MB. Sweet. Unlocked my Sempron 140 to dual core.

I see power usage at idle in the low 40's and upper 50's when browsing.

This is true, but i built my ex's grandparents one and they only asked for help once. It was their stupid adopted daughter that f'd it up with viruses.

i wont get an antec. its just a me thing and they are going to end up with the stock 300 watter out of my silverstone SG05-b and i am ordering me a 450w FSP off of newegg lol

as for support i had one major redo on that pc and it was my fault i installed the NV drivers and they fucked up windows XP so i put 7 on it and there was never another issue until that flood
