Benchmark Scores later...
One thing you didn't mention was the resolution that the guy was using if he was using a lower res. then you that would explain the higher scores + physx...

But anyways doesn't matter now it seems that you are playing your games just fine & that is all that matters..

Benchmarks is just a general idea of the performance you'll get with your PC nothing more...

that was a typo mate, my ram is 1600 ddr3. 888/24/34

thanks.

also, after much investigation the amd 1090t prety much matches intel in gaming( give or take a frame here and there) its 3dmark that loves intel.

so, all that pissing about for nothing. ha

No not exactly... the AMD 1100T is faster then the 1090T and it gets obliterated in games by intels lower end i7 and their high-end i5's.

Take a look at these charts:

BFBC2:

Far Cry 2:

Civ 5:

What im saying is that you have quite alot of performance increase to still get in games by using another CPU... even the mighty 1100T gets crushed by the i5 750 in some games... i think that says it all....
In short terms, Yes. Your CPU is bottlenecking the crap out of that card.

i7's dont have as much of a lead as the fanboys want you to think,

Yes they do. Single threaded Cinebench R10 tells the whole story. Clock for clock 3.0Ghz

950 : 4353
1075T : 3820

Thuban has the IPC of a Core 2 Quad.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
the Nehlalem architecture really shines in SLI/Crossfire vs any other chip. Single card however, "i7's dont have as much of a lead as the fanboys want you to think." ;)

With Sandybridge on the otherhand.......well, read some reviews and make an education guess. :)
