hacking has become an underground sensation. literally every server has 3-5 hackers on each team. as evenbalence tries to sort things out. this is BIG MONEY!!!!!

unfortunately having only one hacker extra on a team will completely unbalance the game. as the extra 20 kills he might get minus the 19-21 on average kills he would of got puts one team around 40kills up.

so one cheat causes things to sway roughly 40 kills in a round.

so with 3-5 cheats your going to get hammered.

the most frustrating cheat has to be ESP where they can see through walls and lock on to your position immediately after you spawn.

that one cheat alone used to get me pretty angry. I just couldn't figure out what was happening, at first I was like everyone else. thinking that no one hacked bf4. might be a few but not many. that kind of thinking. until I started seeing guns shoot 3 different ways and players get such high scores compared to everyone else that it couldn't be skill.

they fool punkbuster and fairfight easily.

Now if anyone from EA is here, I was just about to buy bf hardline, when I thought I better check to see if it had been hacked and there is already an aimbot.

so the younger generation starting to play bf4 are coming over from cod which is now fubar because of the hacks.
they start hacking and at the minute its perfect. they don't get cought and get away with big scores. they denounce anyone who mentions cheating by going after their stats. of course they are bad. they've been playing against people who cheat ffs.

anyway I wont be buying another bf game until I hear they have completely stopped any hacking as I didn't notice it on any of the previous games. on this one though, the game is just unbalanced fubar. hopefully if no one buys the new game they might do something about these hacks.

and if you are thinking of buying bf hardline, get ready to play against players who at the moment don't miss. not much of an advantage eh..lol...

so my fav game is now ruined, unless I want to even things up with a couple of hacks activated. but that's not the way I like to play... completely guttered about it.

ive been around to a few houses where they are all hacking and it is very much real. so I do not recommend bf4 to anyone atm until the cheats have been sorted out. unless you feel like insta death and being shot when you are well hidden.

expect all the idiots that hack to now post personal attacks and such (this warns others not to post about hacking) this is how they stop the community from focusing on the problem and calling for a fix... they use very simple tactics to dilute the argument and weaken the points made. but don't be fooled or swayed. it is common knowledge among these hacking groups that punkbuster no longer works. so do you go out and buy the latest multiplayer game that uses punkbuster... I think not. you demand a system that works. why havnt demands already been made???? because there wernt enough people that new this was happening including myself. so make sure you look out for hackers and only try to support games which have invested in anti cheat systems which work.

A lot of the cheaters are bad at the game
This also doesn't happen in good servers with admins

Dude, this is old news, there have been multiple cheats in every game for years now.
Bad thing is people would rather play riding the cheaters to their own advantage than play on a good server with respectable admins.
Been hosting a server for years now and every time you get most of the cheats banned everyone goes and plays where all of the cheats are.

on the servers I use in the uk and Europe they always have a couple using the cheats at least. most of the cheats on that page will work and you think no ones using them... now whos being unreasonable... but no one cheats ever...

There are a ton of wallhacks on this game.

Reporting doesn't do much to ban cheats anymore.
PB is doing tiny bit mostly catching public hacks.
Fairfight is a joke cause hacks can fool it by misfiring a few shots when botting.

All you can do is play on servers with votekick enabled.

first of all to help punk buster update to version 1.5. mine was set to update automatically but it was still on 0.9 and bf4 was working fine. but with cheats of course... I may find the situation better as it turns out that punkbuster is working but! as it tries to kick the player the program lets the player drop out of the server and the ban isn't issued.
so keep up to date people... lets make things a bit more difficult for these low lives...

Hmm, not really noticed too much shenanigans. On 64 player servers the hackers don't really make a difference - not to my notice anyway. I'm on a lowly but at least positive KD of 1.33.

Any time i see someone i think is too good, I often check their stats and they've played like a billion hours more than me or they are pro jet pilots on a 24-0 streak.. They're not hackers, just evidently 'unemployed stay at homes'

Us over 40's with FT jobs can never be as good as kids with 27 hours a day to game.

A) It's Battlefield. Much like Call of Duty, any 'skill' is negated by the fact that it's significantly unrealistic.
B) Fu** video games, just go outside and shoot somebody. I doubt any one will shout 'hacks' then.

Thanks for posting this, interested read on how hacking is prevalent in BF4.

I was playing Vietcong with a clan back in the days and it too had cheats. And it's a game hardly anyone knows it existed and it had cheats. We even tested them to see what others might be doing so we can spot them easier, but we didn't use them for clan fights. Though they've accused me several times because i was taking advantage of the sound to such level that i basically knew where all enemies are through the walls (suprisingly they didn't crouch sneak around to be silent lol).

I had a friend who played Raven Shield and bought hacks. The hacks could be employed in such a way that it was very obvious he was using them or in subtle ways. The biggest overall assist it provided was wall hack, since he could be subtle about using it. He had hacks that were more extremely obvious such as one that allowed him to walk in the air. I never got serious into RVS PVP, just played terrorist hunt. It was annoying playing PVP against this guy.

When I was in high school I was really into competative Counter-Strike, and you'd be amazed how someone having a good day can be perceived as cheating. I think I personally even got disputed 5-6 times between CAL, OGL, and CEVO--one time stands out as a day when I was just in the zone and went something like 29-3 on CT side of de_nuke holding ramp solo. Eventually I actually worked for a league (CEVO) as an admin and had to go through and watch disputed players first person views, which really opened my eyes. What seems like bullshit that happens to you, is about 75% getting outplayed and 25% luck. It's easy to think "omfg how did he know I was there!??!" and not even consider a multitude of reasons the person knew or that they just guessed.

In the time I played BF3 (which people said had tons of hackers too) I only encountered 1 or 2 hackers, and they were stupidly blatant. Like, KDR in the hundreds or even thousands.

The trouble is the smarter hackers make sure they aren't too obvious. From what I read over the years , you don't necessarily have to only shoot through walls and use aimbot. There are plenty of huge advantages some hacks give you that don't make you stick out much if at all.
