That g3258 doesn't take much power either. I'd expect you'd have plenty of headroom.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
VX450, VX550, TX650. Mm-mm good.
Lol... yikes.

How about 687 people using the same PSU? :D

I hear ya though. You never really know until it's been in the field -- or my standard of quality is if I forget I put it there until a few years later :p
Lol x2... because reviews from users saying it works tells you anything more than it wasn't doa...

It's a good psu, no doubt, but read proper reviews. Anecdotal stars from people on Newegg or amazon really only tell you about doa. They can test psus, just use them. ;)

A PSU is important and is the cornerstone for a good running PC. Steady, clean power really makes a huge difference to the system's longevity.
That said, I have got great results from somewhat cheaper PSUs before.

I have a pair of Rosewill Hive 750W Bronze PSUs and they have lasted for years.
One of them powers and Intel i7-2600K system with two R9-280X OC GPUs inside. It has eight fans, an AIO, and three HDDs. There is also an SSD, and two DVD Burners in it.
I may be stretching it a little to use all of that gear inside, but it's never wavered.

My point was that because someone has used dozens of PSU's The same brand and it doesn't have Failured It doesn't means that it's a good PSU, it just mean it works, a Psu could fail today, tomorrow or in 5 years, it doesn't which brand or if it's cheap or expensive, A good PSU is the one that last Until the day that i decide to replace it ;)

I stand behind what I said and suggested because it is an experienced opinion, which I find far more vital than a quick Amazon review or other users with no experience with said part(s). If I find that kind of suggestion useful in others, then I would hope others would find it useful from myself. If not, well it's easy enough to keep on scrolling isn't it? ;)

Your standings and ratings are different from mine and that's fine. Where we differ in this thread is that I was able to assure the OP that their choice was actually a good one IMO based on my experiences with that part. You added a dose of common-sense that any system builder should clearly have before posting on this forum (well we can hope right? :D ).

Doesn't mean they won't get a DOA or a bad unit, but that I haven't had one in this specific model of PSU, which I can't say for Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, Rosewill, Hitech, etc. etc...for me is saying something. As you can see I still have Corsair PSU's in my rigs listed to this account, and have had them for years...and even with the failures, I would still consider Corsair's good, albeit expensive PSU's.

To each their own. :toast:
