Okay, here we go fellow TPU'ers
Asus Crosshair IV Extreme
For this last day, I will shoot this board for $200 shipped to any fellow TPU Cruncher or TPU team Folders!!!!!
First I have an Asus Crosshair IV Extreme. What can I say about these boards other than they are just frigging awesome! This board works perfect and I have had it now for a little over a year. It was purchased right here on TPU when it was just about 3 months old.
It comes in the retail box with most all accessories. It even has the big ROG sticker. I think it is missing a couple of the SATA cables but other than that it is pretty much complete. It DOES have the bluetooth module as well. Runs all the latest 6 core processors, and it will run the 8 core FX's if flashed to the newest bios. I did not flash to that bios as Asus only recommends flashing to that bios only if installing a new BullDozer CPU.
Only odd thing about this board, and you will see it in one of the pictures, is there is a stain on the back side of the motherboard. It has been there since I received the board. If I recall correctly the original owner had a leak in his or her liquid cooling system. His or her system had the non-conductive fluid so it did not damage the board. I have had 0 issues with it!
It is an amazing board. I personally have not overclocked the board as I didn't see any reason running both a 1090T and a 960T in the board all the time I have had it.
Okay, okay, I know your all wanting to see the pictures
First though, let me get a couple of things out of the way:
Now lets get to them pictures.
First the picture of the main package:
Now a picture with the front of the box opened:
Picture of the retail accessories:
Now a picture of this frigging awesome motherboard:
And last a picture of the back part of the board that I indicated had the stain:
as stated this board still has the most part of 2 years worth of warranty and works flawless! One of the very best motherboards I have ever owned. I just don't need as much as this board offers. This would be a superb motherboard for someone that overclocks a bunch. Just cannot state how awesome looking and performing this board is!
I am now updating this original post due to many people bound and determined to argue with me on the fact that this board WILL support the new Bulldozer processor!!!
According to Asus, the Crosshair IV will run the Bulldozer processor with the beta 3027 bios.

And thanks to our own Norton, I am updating this with the link to the driver, utility, and bios downloads to show that there is in fact the beta 3027 bios for the Bulldozer chips.

First though, let me get a couple of things out of the way:
Preferred payment: PayPal
Shipping: Only in the ConUS lower 48 states. No exceptions!
Shipping method: USPS Priority mail insured with delivery confirmation/tracking sent to buyer.
Warranty: I will warranty against DOA. This board was registered under my name. I believe that these boards are warrantied for 3 years. It was registered 01/10/2011. That would indicate that there is still the better part of 2 years left on the warranty. I will help with any warranty needed less shipping cost.
