Looking to buy a single processor Motherboard, 3-4gigs ram, Processor + cooling, I don't care about noisy fans. Maybe a new case, tall, black, and simple. No need for fancy windows and such, basically the Monolith from "2001", "2010" on my desk.

I have Hard Drives and a graphics card
Sadly I still need 32 bit windows OS, so I'll be using XP32bit but I might also get Windows 7 Professional if I find that it's XP mode can run my 3D programs without problems or somehow limiting the performance of the programs the way Virtual PC does.

Main use is 3D rendering and from watching system resources, rendering appears to be mostly processor Intensive, I never see much load on my ram when rendering.

Looking to beat current system as much as possible.

Yes but in Hawaii. NewEgg always kills me with shipping costs :(

If you need an i5/i7 rig put together. PM me and I can get you set up with a cpu at a good price. Rendering machines just need powerful CPUs, but nothing fancy.

My personal recommendation would be something like...

ATI 5750
Gigabyte UD4
i7 920
3x2GB Crucial Value Ram
Corsair HX650

Then you'd just need cooling which could range from $60-300 depending on what you want to do. The parts I have listed above cost only about $800 and that may be pricing it all kind of high.

::EDIT:: as for the processors I've shipped all over the place before and it would cost you a bundle less than newegg.

The ram is only 3GB. I do work in ZBrush and I really like having the 6GB to work with.

Nah I'm fine with 3 gigs, I usually see my usage fall between 400-900 MB.
True about Zbrush though, more ram and you can up the detail.

I was looking for newer prebuilt systems but I've been seeing that some don't offer 32bit driver support. Will I run into that problem building my own system? I would hate to find out the icore7 and new motherboards coming out don't offer 32bit support. :(
