If your lookin to replace the fan then go with a water cooling method !!!! the other fans dont really help all that much as your stock heat sync and fan are pretty beastly.

p.s. I use the bath tub for water cooling !!!

P.S.S. Just kidding about the bath tub!!!!

yeah. They make other fans, but the temps aren't too much lower, just quieter.
The best way to cool an X1800/X1900 is watercooling.

the vf900cu is the best current fan availble for a x1800/x1900. the ac accelero x2 is good but lacks the air duct out of the case and its covered design makes it quieter but it doesnt cool as well.

i dont think without a very expensive water block u are gonna get better than the stock cooler.. fitting something that dosnt shift all that heat out of the case is pretty stupid in my oppinion..

i have a 120mm side case fan blowing in on mine to help it along.. plus my zalman cpu cooler blows down on the back of it..

I own the Accelero x2 and it is VERY silent (barely audible) but the cooling efficiency leaves something to be desired. Granted it is still better than stock, but not anywhere near watercooling. I just ordered a water cooling system, along with some ramsinks and a PCI fan card cooler to cool the ram/voltage regulator (that crazy thing gets SO hot).

turn your 120 case side fan so it blows in at the card.. it not just the gpu temp thats the problem the entire card gets overly hot.. the side fan will help cool the lot down..

The set I got (CPU + GPU water cooling system, 16 ramsinks and a PCI fan card cooler (2 fans) and a 130mm fan) cost me 250 Canadian. When I get it and install it all Ill be more than happy to take some pics and report to you my temps and such. :toast:

yes if its easy to do.. make sure its pointing at the rear end of the card where the (burn your fingers) voltage regulating stuff is..
