hey all
is that GPU the strongest one for 1440p monitors?

That's the equivalent of buying two R9 290X's as it is a dual GPU card which means you rely on CFX to play games. Yes its pretty strong and one of the strongest out there but its going to be dependent on CFX profiles to be that strong constantly.

Are you getting it for a good deal or something?

i was so stupid to asking for getting an r9 nitro 280 to play some mmorpg games (sorry for my English)
but i'm thinking to get that crazy card, but what do you mean "dependent on CFX profiles to be that strong constantly"?
- what is the cheapest i7, motherboard and psu to turn on that predator?

When you have multiple gpus, you are dependent on either AMD Or Nvidia to release a profile that allows the game to take advantage of all the cards.

Normally for most popular or AAA games your fine.

Cheapest psu is going to be an 750-800watt good branded psu. As for processor, an i5 would suffice even but the higher the clocks the better.

It simply means that you need the crossfire profiles for each game to 100% power out of that card.
In reality the game youre playing need to support multi GFX.

do you mean that there are some games does not give more performance (FPS) at CrossfireX? (no performance gain with cfx or dual gpu like that devil13)?

- so i have a question, what is the strongest single card for 1440p and 1080p?

Yes. There are certain game that do not support crossfire so your fps will not increase, and there are also cases where crossfire yields worse performance than a single card.

- so i have a question, what is the strongest single card for 1440p and 1080p?

Strongest card is the best card: likely you'll want a 980ti for best performance. However, you can go with a lesser card for that resolution.

Both 1080-1440p are OK..pick the GPU u afford.

980/Ti is more future proof i can say..later on where u could SLI.

That's the best one for u..cya

yes and you need 3x140 mm fans two keep your PC cool. Don't go that route!

that makes no sense, you're just trying to scare this guy.

295 is still the most powerful single card you can buy till the fury x2 is out.

it is 2 cores on 1 card which means it uses more power and creates more heat than 1 core but that is to be expected.

http://www.powercolor.com/us/products_features.asp?id=595

is the card you want imo. not far off 980ti performance for less than 980 money? thank you very much!

so that devil 13 is 2 cards in 1 ?
Basically, its still the most powerful Single Card you can buy at the moment but again like any multi-GPU setup you have to rely on profiles. I have 3 R9 290X's and personally it does not bother me as most games have a profile that need it and the other (With few exceptions) do not need the second card even playing 1440p 144hz.

If you want the fastest Single GPU money can but its the GTX 980ti. It all comes down to how much you want to spend and what deal you can get. A single 290X like I have can easily max most games at 1440p 60hz without AA.

Its all about price and what you want to achieve for the games you play, a single powerful GPU can be seen as the best option depending on what cards your looking at.
