Having just bought one, i thought i would make this for anyone who owns or use one to share prints, plans or just chat about this facinating hobby/job/interest.

I have just bought a Anycubic kobra plus, as my mate has one and said it is pretty good. Looking forward to gtrying it when it comes today.

Here is a pic of the reels i have already got to try it with, i hope they will be suitable, if not feel free to chime in.

I'm looking forward to some PC related plans.

Mine was £300 was recommended by my mate and is apparently used by adam savage of myth busters.

In general you can use PLA, PLA+, ABS, PETG,... Depending on your heated bed, how good it holds the temps and so on. Anlso it depends on your capabilities of ther printig head. It has to melt the filament and after it made it to the bed this one should hold a certain temperature. PLA/PLA+ is the easiest for the beginning.

oohhh i'm so doing a owl, when i get my printer, my mother love owls... i buy anything and everything owls when i see some

latest buy for her birthday (22th may... will have to wait a bit, but i also already booked a surprise plane flight on the 19th may

not an express delivery ahah )

normally tomorrow or after tomorrow delivery

i bought the Sunlu FilaDryer S1 Plus myself ... turns out the person was trying to fleece me, hehe ... although he didn't know i knew the retail price and tried to sell it 1 time and a half higher than retail :laugh:

and i changed the spool to 2 black instead of 1 black 1 silver but i will order other later

initially i had a Ender 3 Neo in mind for 39chf less but the V2 was recommended instead

price it about 217.56£ or 253.76€

but it would not act as a table support for the spool instead of hanging it on the top of the printer

so, it would only fulfill the drying job, hehe

also it's only 20chf more than the cheapest fruit dryer around for me

Ender 3 v2 has been an amazing printer for me. I have tried others but with a few mods you print with the printer it is pretty amazing..as is the support community for Enders.

You want the plan for this? only an hour and bit to print.

Probably going to order the same dryer tonight, it can make a difference so thought i would give it a try.

Happy with the printer, that was a out of the box print and it went smooth as baby s.......custard.

oh, yeah, i wouldn't mind it

also yeah, it's thanks to @PLAfiller about the spool weight and the placement on the Ender-3 V2 Neo, i asked someone i knew who had a 3D Printer and a lot of accessories if he knew of a good one ... and the story go as it did, never asking him again ever.

if it can act as a spool holder and dry the filament, while not costing too much (about a mid range fruit dryer :laugh:

this is the S1 but the S1 Plus just add a fan to make the air circulate better in the dryer

I bought (at the time that is) the cheapest FDM printer I could get my hands on, a Tronxy X1 (a whopping 50$), build from kit and kinda fun dialing it in. Then I bought on sale an Elegoo Mars 3, used it to do DnD minis, but set it aside for other projects and when I went back to it, everything I try to print separates from the metal plate, so it's just kind of gather dust right now.

Both of them are actually. While I had great fun with them, I dunno, just sort of drifted off into other things.

just printing myself an elastic band gun.

I'm just using mine direct with the files from the SD card rather than from usb. I convert the STL files to .Gcode then print from SD, seems more tricky doing it from cura.

We have 2 Formlabs printing machine here at job.
Very precise, usable with castable wax, and many other resin.
There are so many stl files to play with.
I've tried some "warhammer" copy to play with, great results.
Have fun with your printer !

Just in case I wasn't clear, this is for a liquid resin printer, my Tronxy extrudes filament just fine.

Extend the lighting time of the base when it doesn't hold on the plate. Also shaking the bottle befor usage could help.

I'm just designing, constructing and printing cable combs and cabel channels for my new build. The ATX Cables for my Mainboard are all over 30 cables (7,5cm) wide. Aa cable comb for 30 Cables is not available. So i have to do it on my own.

You might be printing too hot. I see lots of stringing in that print.
