Hi guys.
Well i just upgraded my 3870 to a 4870 and as we know, they are great except the high temp issues.
Now on my 3870 i adjusted the VGA bios to make the fan come on earlier and faster and it worked a treat. I also overclocked in the bios and reduced the number of power modes.
I learnt about this from these forums a while ago and i would like to do the same thing to my 4870.
What i need to know is, is RBE (radeon bios editor) compatible with the 4870 cards yet??
Also is ATI Winflash compatible with 4870's too?
Can i safely use the same method to flash the 4870 like i did the 3870?
I know i can make a profile but i would rather set it and forget it and still have the fan rampiing up or down with the temps.
Thanks
