6950 Drivers

Hello, I have a quick question that I've been wondering recently, Im about to get a HD 6950 and I've been reading all kinds of good/bad things related to drivers, It would seems like 10.10e is pretty stable, etc, but seems like 10.12 offers better performace? but comes with some crashes, bugs with the card, I don't know so Im asking you guys what is the best/stable/performance driver for this card, which one should I have ready for when the card arrives?

i havnt found any bug free drivers yet for the 6950
hopefully the new cat 11's will fix most of the problems
